ReLeaf Michigan's Native Plant Sale: Sunday, Aug 21, 2-5pm!
We are excited to announce our first native plant sale! Fall is a great time to start or fill in your perennial garden, since there is ample time for the plants to set root before frost sets in and without the competition of insects and other pests.
When: Sunday, August 21st, 2 to 5 p.m.
Where: Guardian Tree Experts, 158 Enterprise Dr., Ann Arbor 48103 [View on Google Maps]
What: ReLeaf Michigan is partnering with East Michigan Natives to offer perennials for a discounted price of $6.50 per plant, plus pre-selected Garden Kits at further discounts. 50 varieties of plants will be available in quart containers, with substantial root systems and good biomass to help ensure their survival. A representative from East Michigan Natives will be on hand to answer any and all questions regarding native plant selections.
Opportunity to Ask An Arborist
Additionally, a ReLeaf Michigan arborist will be at the sale to answer your tree questions. You are encouraged to bring pictures, leaves and twigs if you have questions regarding trees on your property. Common questions may include identifying the type of tree or shrub, discussing a disease or insect problem, landscape design, hardiness of a specific tree/shrub, growth patterns or plant light/moisture requirements. Donations for consultation are encouraged but not required and will support ReLeaf Michigan's mission to plant more trees and help educate Michiganders on how to protect and maintain their existing trees.
