About the Planting
In this planting ReLeaf Michigan, DTE Energy Foundation, Oakview Middle School, Lake Orion School District, Prospect Builders, and student volunteers planted 10 trees along the entrance drive at Oakview Middle School on Friday, April 29th, 2022 in celebration of Arbor Day. The trees were mostly planted by the middle schoolers! The trees will increase the overall tree canopy and provide a multitude of environmental and aesthetic benefits. This planting includes a variety of four different oak species as a tribute to the school name ‘Oakview’. About the DTE Energy Foundation
